Animal farm a story about animals

June came and the hay was almost ready for cutting. The human beings did not hate Animal Farm any less now that it was prospering, indeed they hated it more than ever. Most of this time Mr Jones had spent sitting in the taproom of the Red Lion at Willingdon, complaining to anyone who would listen of the monstrous injustice he had suffered in being turned out of his property by a pack of good-for-nothing animals.

GEORGE ORWELL

It was noticed that they wagged their tails to him in the same way as the other dogs had been used to do to Mr Jones. When time passed and the animals had evidently not starved to death, Frederick and Pilkington changed their tune and began to talk of the terrible wickedness that now flourished on Animal Farm.

That was theirs too, but they were frightened to go inside. Yes, it was theirs—everything that they could see was theirs! It happened that Jessie and Bluebell had both whelped soon after the hay harvest, giving birth between them to nine sturdy puppies.

The allegory turned out to be a creaking machine for saying in a clumsy way things that have been said better directly.

But there is another matter that must be attended to first. Napoleon enters into an alliance with Frederick in order to sell surplus timber that Pilkington also sought, but is enraged to learn Frederick paid him in counterfeit money.

The animals receive less and less food, while the pigs grow fatter. And again, since no animal now stole it was unnecessary to fence off pasture from arable land, which saved a lot of labour on the upkeep of hedges and gates. Snowball now launched his second line of attack.

Jones makes an attempt to recapture the farm, but the animals are led to victory by Snowball, in what becomes known as the Battle of the Cowshed. Mrs Jones looked out of the bedroom window, saw what was happening, hurriedly flung a few possessions into a carpet bag and slipped out of the farm by another way.

There were only four dissentients, the three dogs and the cat, who was afterwards discovered to have voted on both sides. Later, Napoleon and his pigs secretly revise some commandments to clear themselves of accusations of law-breaking.

Napoleon enacts changes to the governance structure of the farm, replacing meetings with a committee of pigs who will run the farm. The meeting is concluded with old Major teaching the animals a song called Beasts of England, which becomes their anthem.

When a storm topples the half-finished windmill, Napoleon predictably blames Snowball and orders the animals to begin rebuilding it. The harvest is more important.

Hidden under the straw was a little pile of lump sugar and several bunches of ribbon of different colours. During the next three months there was much secret activity.

The animals hated Moses because he told tales and did no work, but some of them believed in Sugarcandy Mountain, and the pigs had to argue very hard to persuade them that there was no such place.Napoleon - The pig who emerges as the leader of Animal Farm after the Rebellion.

Based on Joseph Stalin, Napoleon uses military force (his nine loyal attack dogs) to intimidate the other animals and consolidate his power. In his supreme craftiness, Napoleon proves more treacherous than his counterpart, Snowball.

“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” A farm is taken over by its overworked, mistreated animals. With flaming idealism and stirring slogans, they set out to create a paradise of progress, justice, and equality/5.
